Leadership Lawrence County is a program designed to develop individuals to provide leadership in Lawrence County.
Classes are held each year for youth and adults. Over the years, several different Leadership Lawrence County classes have come together to learn more about Lawrence County and to develop ideas that could benefit the county.
Topics for sessions include local and state government, community needs, healthcare, county business, economic development, agriculture and tourism. Members also take an all-day tour of the county. Class members also complete a service project together.
