Seeks to boost economic development by attracting visitors to Lawrence County. The committee actively develops and markets tourist attractions in the county utilizing such assets as the Rock ‘n’ Roll Highway 67, historical sites and museums, hunting and fishing, natural beauty, local festivals and other attractions.

Transportation
To stay abreast of issues and opportunities regarding roads and highways, airports, railroads, rail travel, walking and bicycling trails, and other transportation matters which affect Lawrence County.
To serve as a liaison between the Chamber and entities which deal with transportation issues, including government agencies, transportation related companies, and advocacy groups.
To advocate for transportation projects and policies which will benefit Lawrence County

Work to enhance the position agriculture plays in our economy. This committee will also work with Randolph County to set up an Ag Expo.

Establish projects and activities that uphold the values of business and school interaction with the intent of better informing students of career choices and provide positive role models through mentoring programs.

This committee is designed to help develop leaders in Lawrence County, both adults and youth.

Develop specific projects and programs that enhance the relationship between the business community and government. This committee will also monitor current issues when the legislature is in session.
